Square Enix has declared its financials for the nine months to December 31st 2010. We'd imagine several key executives are eyeing up escape routes.

Net Sales to December 31, 2010: ¥98,183m down 27.5% from 2009's ¥135,431m.
Net Income to December 31, 2010: ¥1,821m down 76.6% from 2009's ¥7,797m
The financials also noted that, "During the nine-month period ended December 31, 2010, while “DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: Joker 2” released in April and “Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days” released in August became million sellers, the segment experienced weakness in sales of console games."
