Scarlett Johansson vs Amy Adams in Uncharted Territory

The director for the upcoming movie adaptation of Uncharted, David O. Russell, has spoken with Empire magazine regarding its progress and the casting for Elena.

Quizzed as to who he would like to see in the role of main female character Elena, Russell explained that he has cultivated the character to an extent, adding that the more robust they are, the more robust the film will be too.

While Empire wants Amy Adams take the role, Russell replied that while wouldn't mind, he is a big fan of Scarlett Johansson, suggesting that she may be a suitable candidate for the role.
