Disney has finally axed Tron: Evolution developer, Vancouver-based Propaganda Games following murmurings of the closure last October, as reported by SPOnG.Deadline
reports that, "In the fall, John Pleasants and Jimmy Pitaro were made co-head of Disney Interactive, and the company has since indicated that it would be going more in the direction of social media gaming and mobile titles rather than console games."
Joystiq says, "Disney Interactive Studios confirms the closure of its Vancouver-based internal game development studio, Propaganda Games."
Still, unlike the under-pressure and under-supported UK games development environment that has seen
Bizarre Creations almost certainly closed by Activision, the people at Propaganda have the much healthier Canadian gaming community to work with. Good luck to them.
