Gran Turismo 5 to Get PC Remote Racing in February
Gran Turismo 5 looks set to get another update soon with the promised "Remote Races" feature on track for an "early February" launch, according to Polyphony boss Kazunori Yamauchi.

Remote Races was to be an option for GT5 players to control their B-Spec races from a PC or mobile device. It was to be included in the disc when it launched in November, but it didn't make the cut and fans were curious as to whether it would be coming at all.

Yamauchi confirmed on Twitter that the studio had yet to can the feature, and that it will in fact be arriving in a matter of weeks. It will most likely be included in another patch that you'll need to download, but this wasn't confirmed at all.

This has gotta be one of the most pointless updates ever! There are so many other things to improve/add to GT5 that are more important that this, surely.

Awesome, looking forward to this one. I'm addicted to GT5 but I want to get other games finished, and soon enough I can do both at the same time :D
Also it'll be interesting to see if you can use every driver for a different race at the same time. Or at least one on the PS3 and one remotely at the same time. Hopefully!
