EA Partners is getting its MMO on by signing up Funcom's The Secret World to its roster. In case you missed out on TSW news, it's a "modern-day massively multiplayer online game."
The game features three very fashionable secret societies: the Illuminati, the Dragon and the Templar. It sees players "given total freedom to create and progress their characters, unbound by the restrictions of classes and levels", in environments such as Egypt, New England, London, New York and Seoul.
Everybody, including Funcom CEO Trond Arne Aas is "tremendously excited" about the whole project.
Funcom's does have some pedigree in the MMO stakes, having developed Anarchy Online and Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures.
