Mad Catz releases Sonic-themed charger
To commemorate the 20th Anniversary of SEGA's favourite mascot, peripheral manufacturer Mad Catz has released a Limited Edition Inductive Charger for the Nintendo Wii.

The chargers will be individually numbered and carry a six-inches tall model of Sonic in a classic pose, standing atop a green plateau akin to that of the Green Hill Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog 1.

The Limited Edition charger costs $49.99 and can be purchased from the Mad Catz web store. Be sure to speed along to pick one up if it peaks your interest.

They do it because they can and i sure as hell dont blame them for ripping gamers off.... 10 minutes on a gamefaqs forum and you will see how they will defend their favourite franchise/game to the death without logic and buy anything related to that respected franchise.. Sega and madcats are only doing what they should be doing as business companies.. trying to find any possible way to get your money.
