Ever thought that your PS3 needed to feel more like your Wii? Sony has unveiled the Sharp Shooter, a lightgun-style attachment for its PlayStation Move controller, that aims to give you a bit more control in first-person shooters.Unfortunately, it looks like someone's gone and built an elaborate water pistol out of hardened chewing gum. Maybe its functionality will make people forget about its sheer ugliness - along with gaps to slot a Move and a Navigation controller into, the Sharp Shooter features a reload button, firing mode select and adjustable shoulder stock.
It's already designed to work with gun games such as
SOCOM 4,
Time Crisis: Razing Storm and
Dead Space Extraction, but the peripheral is being touted as the companion to
Killzone 3 - the Sharp Shooter will be available at the same time as the upcoming FPS in February.
Don't have nightmares until then.
