Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam Gets Date
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam is coming along to 'delight' you apparently - it'll be delightfully here on December 18th... but that's not all.

Let's enable EA to crush all meaning from the word 'exclusive' with the date announcement that the game with be "available exclusively at the EA Store and Steam on December 18, 2010 for the PC and on December 21, 2010 on Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PlayStation Network."

It will also be available on PC at "all participating digital service providers" on December 21, 2010.

Controversially (or not) gamers can play as "a US Marine or as a member of the North Vietnamese Army (NVA) through varied, hostile terrain on four all-new multiplayer maps which are brought to life via the award-winning Frostbite engine."

Ah. So no "opposing force" here, then? Charlie's not worthy of a rebranding.

Naturally, there are new weapons of the time to play with too. Such as the AK-47, with its clickable reload. That we have the opportunity to try during our playable demo seems rusty and is maintained by bit dirty bandage - that a guy from DICE tells us, was a typical state of affairs at the time.
