It's been a long time coming, but the sequel to Test Drive Unlimited is just around the corner. If you can imagine the destination being Europe, and the corner being almost an entire season of course. It'll be arriving on the 11th February 2011.
Namco Bandai, who has publishing duties for all of Atari's games in the continent, confirmed the release date for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms, along with a special bonus for those eager enough to pre-order the game early.
Those pre-ordering at either GAME, Amazon, HMV, Play, Asda, Blockbuster or Gamestation will get a free in-game DLC package worth £6, or 800 Microsoft Points. It allows players to head to a Casino area where they can level up their character, win in-game currency and exclusive items and obtain an Audi R8 Spyder 5.2 FSI Quattro and a Spyker C8 Aileron Spyder.
Pre-ordering also gets you special cars and content, but it depends where you shop. GAME is offering the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Supersport, Amazon has the Caterham's Superlight R500, Adsa is offering the Audi RS 5 Coupe, and going to HMV will get you a Ferrari 612 Sessanta. Play, Gamestation and independent retailers will have model upgrades to offer; the Aston Martin V12 Vantage Carbon Black, the Aston Martin DBS Carbon Black and the Camero Synergy Special Edition, respectively.
