A new gameplay trailer of Deus Ex: Human Revolution has gone live, and it's hack-tastic. As well as shot-tastic, spy-tastic and cyberpunk-tastic. Watch the whole thing below, in glorious detail.

Understandably, there have been concerns from the Deus Ex fanbase that the Eidos Montreal studio may not be able to create an experience that lives up to the PC originals. Thankfully, game director Jean-Francois Dugas recognises that fact and has released a short Q&A quelling the majority of these fears.

Indicating that Human Revolution will follow in the footsteps of past games in the series, Dugas said that not all options in play will be easily presented before the player. "Absolutely not. Some choices will be presented in ways that the outcome will be more obvious but, a lot of choices will be more or less hidden in the challenges you face and in the narrative.

"Depending on how you react, later outcomes will vary. We didn't want to make a game where all the choices are telegraphed because it makes the choice more often than not based on how you want to boost your character as opposed as being immersed in the fantasy of the game. It's definitely more subtle than a lot of games."

Dugas also explained to fans in the official release that augmentations will be permanent, that health regeneration is slow and not like that seen in Halo or Call of Duty, and BE cells, lockpicks and multitools were removed to "make the hacking [experience] more important and deeper."

There's even an answer to the question of protagonist Adam's coat - there are holes in it so that he is able to use augmentations like the Claymore.
