Dragon Age II Benefits from Facebook Version
When EA says it's taking Facebook seriously it means it. It's bringing BioWare’s Dragon Age Legends to the social networking site.

The company has also announced that, the Facebook version includes "Unlockable Items for the Dragon Age II."

Dragon Age Legends is a new "Play4Free Facebook game" - the only thing is that it doesn't actually launch until February 2011. When it does hit, however, it will apparently have 'exclusive unlocks' for what we like to call the 'real game'.

Mark Spenner, General Manager of EA 2D, in understated mode says, "Our goal is to change the perception of social network games and attract new players to the Facebook platform by raising the quality bar. Dragon Age Legends will deliver a deep, sophisticated experience, and we will continue to delight gamers by adding new features and content far into the future.”

You've got to like the way that EA will "attract new players to the Facebook platform" rather that Facebook enabling EA to get more people playing its games.
