The sequel for the spin-off series to Phoenix Wright, called Ace Attorney: Investigations 2 has received a price and release date.Entitled
Gyakuten Kenji 2 in Japan, Capcom has confirmed that the game will be released on February 3rd, 2011 and will carry a price of ¥5,040 (about £39.00) for the standard edition. Eager fans will also be able to purchase the Gyakuten Kenji 2 Collectors Package, Gyakuten Kenji 2 Limited Edition and Gyakuten Kenji 2 Extended Edition versions of the title upon release as well.
The Collectors Package version of the game includes a soundtrack CD with arranged orchestral music of 11 in-game tracks from the title. Also bundled with this version will be a DVD that includes promotional videos and footage from this year's TGS. The booklet for the DVD/CD will include a short manga drawn by Tatsuro Iwamoto and will retail for ¥6,090.
The Limited Edition version of the game includes all of the above but will also be bundled with a figure of the game's main protagonist, Miles Edgeworth, for ¥8,000. The Extended Edition will combine the regular version of
Ace Attorney: Investigations 2 with the Miles Edgeworth figure at a price of ¥7,140. These two versions will only be available via Capcom's e-Capcom website as well as a
Ace Attorney: Investigations 2 strap.
