There will still be loads of suspense

Dead Space 2 not scary? No way say EA Staff
Fears that upcoming survival horror in space title Dead Space 2 would eschew the scares the first game had in abundance were quelled recently at a promotional event for the game in New York.

Kevin Kimball, a product marketer for the game publisher, EA, explained that the horror is still abundant in the newest instalment in the series and although there will be moments in the game where Isaac gets to play the big hero there will still be plenty of sections that will put the fear in fans across the world.

Kimball further explained that in Dead Space 2 there will be moments:

"Where you'll be walking around and there there's not much going on. You'll wonder what is going on, expect something to jump out at you and it won't. And then we'll hit you with a big scare."

Hoping that Kimball's claims that the scares in Dead Space 2 live up to those we encountered in the first game? (and my, my, they were scary indeed) We'll let you know if we feel like in space, no one's hearing our screams again when we review the title nearer to its release date.
