UK Video Game Charts: FIFA 11 Top of the Table

FIFA 11 has claimed the top spot for this week's UK Video Game Chart, proving that the passion held by our nation of football lovers burns ever-brightly. That, and it's pretty good - you can check SPOnG's review right here.

According to Charttrack, "This week is of course dominated by ‘FIFA 11’ which was up against last year’s iteration ‘FIFA 10’, the biggest FIFA title ever launched and the third biggest All Format title ever launched in the UK (behind ‘Modern Warfare 2’ and ‘GTA IV’)."

EA Sports' latest kickabout isn't just the only new entry in the Top 10 - it's also the only fresh face in the entire All Formats Top 40 too. Last week's champion, F1 2010, has lost pole position and dropped to #2, while Halo: Reach slumps to #4 as Capcom's Dead Rising 2 maintains its rank at #3.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 make a big jump from #12 last week to #6 this week, and Civilization V makes a bit of a drop from #4 to #10. Sports Champions sits at #7, and despite losing ground in the Top 10 remains the biggest-selling PlayStation Move-enabled title to chart.
