Promotional and gameplay trailers have emerged for upcoming PSP title Valkyria Chronicles 3 that reveals some of the story elements and characters in the game and hands-on playtest from the TGS show floor.
The promo trailer shows the motivations of the game's main characters Kurt, Riela and Imuka, how they became part of Squad 422 (also known as “the Nameless”), the game's antagonists Calamity Raven as well as the overarching conflict that will take place in the upcoming title.
A gameplay trailer has also been released that shows footage of one of the stages in the game as well as what appears to be unit-specific power up attacks which is an enhancement of the Potentials system in the previous games.
The game is due for release in Japan on January 27th, 2011. Be sure to keep on checking SPOnG for updates on the title as we'll be closely following this one and will review the game if we can get our mitts on a copy upon release.
