Free Medal of Honor in Sony Hardware Bundle
Fancy buying a set of Sony's special 'gamer' headphones when they release on the 15th October? There's a free copy of EA's Medal of Honor in it for you. The wargame is being given away as a freebie to those who invest in one of two upcoming headsets, designed specifically for use by games players.

The more expensive DR-GA500 provides a whopping 7.1 channel digital surround sound, supporting Dolby Pro Logic IIx via the Sony Virtual Phones Technology. This might be the one to grab with your free game, as the electronics company says this set is perfect for first-person shooters in particular.

A low-budget version, the DR-GA200 is also available, albeit without the 7.1 surround sound, "FPS Mode" and compression features. Both will have a triple-enfolding design and 40mm drive units.

Medal of Honor is due to launch on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 on the 15th October too - but given the brand of headphones you'll be buying into, it wouldn't be a stretch of the imagination to assume you'd be getting a PS3 copy gratis.
