Casting For FFXIII Versus Underway
Final Fantasy XIII tie-in game going through voice call
Famed character designer of recent Final Fantasy titles Tetsuya Nomura has been providing updates for titles he has been working on via the Twitter account he has set up for upcoming title The 3rd Birthday,a new Parasite Eve game. Among those are details of upcoming title Final Fantasy XIII Versus. He had this to say of the game's progress:
"Versus has had many difficulties, and past method of production have been completely inapplicable, but these are the difficulties of birth, so we are working hard. We have a lot to announce, but because we're going in order, I can't say too much yet."
He also had this to add on the title and the other spin-off game tied to the Fabula Nova Crystalis series of games, FFXIII Agito:
"Agito and Versus have different production styles and progress states, but they're both presently undergoing voice casting. 3rd's recording will end shortly. Next up is Agito."
Although there are other titles Nomura and his team at Square Enix are currently working on that will ship before FFXIII Versus it is good to hear that the game is moving towards a finshed product, albeit steadily and slowly.
