The release date for Kane & Lynch: Dog Days has shifted. In an occurrence so rare for the games industry that it might signal an extinction-level apocalyptic event, the game has been brought forward by one week. The game will now be out on August 20th in Europe and August 17th over in the US.
The sort-of reason given by Niels Jørgensen, general manager of IO Interactive, goes: “With development now complete, why keep people waiting any longer? We want to let gamers experience the game we’ve created and get them online betraying their friends in Fragile Alliance, so we have decided to bring the release date forward by one week.”
One week early, then. Do you care?
