Shaun White: I Hated My First Game Appearance
No input from the 13-year-old snowboarder.

Pro snowboarder Shaun White has been in a couple of video games, but the one he will likely remember the most is his very first appearance in Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder - because he hated it so much.
In an interview with Official Xbox Magazine, White spoke of his involvement in the Activision PS2 game and revealed how it was the "worst experience of my life."
"I was so excited - I'm like 13, they're like you're going to be in a video game. You start freaking out, you're getting excited. Then the game came out and I'm like 'I don't look anything like that!' It was ridiculous," he said, adding that the game didn't depict his snowboarding very well at all. His inability to provide input was listed as a reason for the end result.
"No one asked me what I thought of it, nobody wanted to know that, they just took my name and put it on the character." Since that game, White has been involved in several other snowboarding games with Ubisoft - each only slightly less appalling than the last.
Hopefully Shaun White Skateboarding, due later this year, will do for him what snowboarding games couldn't.
