New Characters for Home Conversion of Capcom Vs SNK 2
Capcom has just announced that the home versions of Capcom Vs SNK 2 will feature two new characters that are not featured in the Arcade version.
In addition to the existing hidden boss characters of Shin Gouki (Akuma) and Evil Rugal, the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 versions hide within their code Riot Blood Iori and Evil Ryu.
In keeping with the first game, it is more than likely that players will have to meet a certain number of requirements to unlock the new secret characters, such as not losing any rounds, super combo finishes, etc.
Riot Blood Iroi has new moves and animation sequences and delivers more damage than normal Iroi. Evil Ryu is a version of Ryu who has been turned to the dark side by Gouki with his killer intent.
In addition to a flawless arcade adaptation of Capcom Vs SNK 2, players will have new game modes and characters to master. A warrior’s dream.
