In a video gaming world where fresh new ideas are exploding into awe inspiring game experiences everywhere you look, it's good to know that Konami can take a step back and re-imagine or reboot a much loved franchise. Yes, Silent Hill will be returning.
Music comes from nice-serial-killer show, Dexter, composer, Daniel Licht (rather than Akira Yamaoka so that's a change) the game. Never fear (as it were) though, because Shinji Hirano, President of Konami Digital Entertainment has history covered. "In honouring the rich history and strong following of Silent Hill, we're working hard to build a next generation horror game that the fans truly deserve.
"This Silent Hill introduces an all-new storyline and unique evolutions in gameplay, building on innovations and successes from over a decade of true survival horror and terror."
This one features escaped prison inmate Murphy Pendleton stranded in Silent Hill fighting off... watch the trailer.
