Ape Escape Official "Fan-Page" Talks PS3 Sequel
It looks like a PlayStation 3 Ape Escape game is on the cards, if subtle hints dropped by the series' official Twitter page are anything to go by. Over the last couple of days, the ApeClub feed has been promoting a strange looking fan-page, which has a completion date of 'June 2010.'

Initially, the colourful website had been posting information on past Ape Escape games, which have graced the PlayStation One, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable. However, a new "PS3 article" appeared today that listed various facts about an upcoming sequel.

"In January 2006, Japan Studio put an ad in the popular "Famitsu" magazine requesting staff for a future PS3 title," reads the page. "At the end of 2006, Japan Studio stated that the concept of the upcoming PS3 game was that it would be a sequel of Piposaru 2001 (a spinoff PS2 title that was never released outside of Japan)."

Apparently, Sony's Japan Studio recently picked up the project again and "re-designed the concept" to work with the PlayStation Move. According to the page, the developers released an image (see above) that will be used to promote the game.

Curious? We certainly are. Sony's E3 lineup is sounding more interesting by the day.
