Sony's UK President Confirms Paid For PSN
SCEE president, Andrew House, has confirmed that a 'Premium' PlayStation Network will be hitting in the very near future. For this, read E3.

Speaking on the PlayStation Blog, House stated:

"I can assure you that the current PSN as you know it will remain a free service. It is something that our competitors don’t offer and something that shows our loyalty to the PlayStation Community.

"However, Kaz Hirai stated a few months ago that we were looking at a premium service to sit alongside the current free service and that objective has not changed. You’ll learn more about it very soon."

SCE headman, Kaz Hirai, made his statement late last year.

It'll only be a matter of time before that free service goes, probably by next gen. Sony are experts are giving, then taking away.

Okay then Sony, lets hope your prices as well as what you hope to offer on a paid service are within reason. Judging by the way you still overprice your goods, I don't hold much faith here either.
