Codemasters has announced that International Cricket 2010 will be released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on the 18th June. The date is to coincide with the real-life cricket match that's going on this Summer - the NatWest series between England and Australia.
Along with the news comes some more information about the improvements made to the game. A new camera system has been implemented called 'Action Cam' - this allows players to see the sport unfold right on the pitch. Another fancy term was used to describe a tweak in the control mechanics - 'Power Stick' aims to give 360-degree batting control.
With the obligatory tournament and multiplayer modes, Codemasters has revealed that International Cricket 2010 will include full test series and quick-fire Twenty20 matches for fans to enjoy. The roster's also been expanded to 16 nations, with 21 stadia from various worldwide locations.
Excited? Now all you need to do is wait. Hopefully you can stick 'wicket'. Ho ho ho. Oh.
