Rugrats portable fun for everyone

Potential Christmas number one from THQ.

Posted by Staff
THQ has announced the first Game Boy Advance game to feature the popular Rugrats Franchise, titled Castle Capers. Regardless of platform, Rugrats games sell well due the branding and appeal to kids. With the power of the Advance, and the Rugrats name, THQ could have the Christmas top slot in the charts.

In Castle Capers, Stu has been commissioned to design a fantastic children’s playground and begins construction in the backyard. Angelica spots the wonderland, complete with castles and appoints herself Queen. Being Angelica she decides to steal the babies’ toys and the game involves finding the toys and dethroning Angelica.

Castle Capers features six themed worlds based on bedtime stories, such as Babies and the Beanstalk and Hansel and Gretle. Players can play as their favourite characters on any level and may even find hidden bonus games.

Castle Capers is a game for the younger audience, but remains accessible to all. Rugrats is currently scheduled for a November release in the UK with a recommend price of £34.99.
