RUSE Gets Delayed Once More
Ubisoft's real-time strategy title, RUSE, has had its release date pushed back. Again. The game's official Facebook page states that, following "massive feedback" from a Public Beta, the studio has "decided to postpone the release of the final game to September 2010."

The choice of phrase suggests that RUSE was on track for a mid-2010 launch after a successful pilot. The game was initially on track for a release in the last quarter of 2010-11, before being delayed to simply '2010' earlier this year.

"The project has been ambitious since the start," the Facebook message reads. "The VIP Beta and Public Beta proved to us that we were working in the right direction and bringing something genuinely new and refreshing to the RTS genre. We want to keep that mindset and make sure that every single feature of the game is absolutely top-notch before shipping."

A list of features being worked on, based on Beta feedback, include multiplayer menus, unit selections and behaviours, order assignments, AI, balancing and the anti-lag policy. Hopefully all of these will be ironed out by September.
