Jason Bourne might be able to evade capture in the movie trilogy, but he's had less luck in the games industry, as today EA has confirmed that the game based on Robert Ludlam's spy series has been cancelled.
Yesterday it was revealed that the publisher had canned an upcoming project by developer Starbreeze. Turns out it was the Bourne game. But it doesn't mean all bets are off - relations between EA and Ludlum Entertainment "remains in effect."
"EA and the Ludlum Estate are still discussing making a game based on the Bourne franchise," an EA spokesperson told the LA Times.
The publisher is keen to establish some more movie tie-ins after a successful run with the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter series.
