Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker for June 18th in Europe
Hideo Kojima's next 'real MGS' is launching on June 18th on all flavours of Sony PSP - yes, even the PSP Go.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker arrives with adhoc Party mode in Europe on that very date.

The point is once again being pushed that this is the "next true chapter in the story of legendary special ops expert, Snake (AKA Big Boss)". It also "acts" as a direct sequel to the previously released Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

"Acts as"? Moving on...

The game is set in 1974 towards the end of the cold war, its got a story written by Kojima himself.

In terms of game play, "In addition to solo operations, players can team up via the game’s the multi-player CO-OPS (CO-operative OPerationS) mode. This extends to key gameplay advances, with players administering medical help to colleagues, sharing munitions, or providing cover for each other using the Snake formation to cover each other’s blind spots."

No price as yet. However, our American cousins will be getting a SCEA Limited Edition PSP pack for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, when it launches there on June 8th. It comprises a "Spirited Green PSP-3000", the game in UMD, a PSN movie voucher, and 2Gb Memory Stick PRO Duo for $199.99.
