ModNation Racers Release Date Announced
US date revealed, and a ballpark window for Europe. Plus, boxart.
Sony has announced on the PlayStation Blog that ModNation Racers will be released on the 25th May in the U.S. No PAL date has been confirmed, but SCEE representating Liam Quigley said that it will aim to be within the same week. So, pencil in the 28th May then for the UK.
ModNation Racers is the next title in Sony's "Play. Create. Share" brand that began with LittleBigPlanet, where players can create their own Mario Kart-esque tracks - hazards and all - and race with friends online.
The box artwork for the PS3 and PSP version includes avatars from the game - or Mods - that were created by users of the recent Beta version that hit PlayStation Network.
