Tecmo of Japan, in conjunction with Microsoft, has released a batch of shots from the Xboxclusive (cool eh!?) Dead or Alive 3, Team Ninja’s latest and possibly greatest creation.
Tecmo, possibly the biggest backer of Xbox in Japan, first unveiled Dead or Alive 3 at the Tokyo Game Show in Spring this year, and since then, a steady trickle of information and screens have come our way.
Tecmo’s latest update to the fighting series is probably the best reason to buy an Xbox we have yet seen. Although Dead or Alive 3 has been somewhat toned down from it’s immediate predecessor in terms of eye-candy for boys, there is still plenty to see. It seems that Tecmo wants the series, famed for its buxom female characters, to grow up a little.
We also like the seagulls flying in the background of these new shots. After all, why should Virtua Fighter get all the birds?
Dead or Alive 3 is slated as an Xbox launch title in all territories.
