You will notice in that Chart that SEGA's Bayonetta and THQ's Darksiders went head-to-head in terms of launch week in what we like to call a "Slash-'em-Up-a-Battle". Bayonetta won, but not by a vast number.

In terms of the #1 - well, Activision Blizzard taking a 9th consecutive week Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is either yawnsomely or brilliantly still there like it's been there for the past eight weeks. So, it's the biggest ever game in UK history ever?

Nope, it's the third biggest game ever in terms of UK history unit sell-through beaten by Dr Kawashima and GTA San Andreas, so now you know.
