Nintendo of Japan has released the first shots of Super Mario Advance 2 for the Game Boy Advance, which will debut at SpaceWorld on August 25th, and 26th at Makuhari Messe in Japan.
As you can see, the game is a rework of Super Mario World from the Super Nintendo, a firm favourite of Nintendo gamers, and arguably the best game in the Mario series. It saw the introduction of Mario’s reptile buddy, Yoshi.
It is not known whether or not the game format has been altered from the SNES original. The two screens we have obtained look like a straight port of Super Mario World which, we are sure you will agree, is a good thing. Whatever happens, Nintendo will definitely throw in some sort of extra goodies to get you platforming away.
