New Medal of Honor Cover Star: Profiled in Life Magazine?
Turns out Afghanistan undercover forces aren’t as secret as their titles suggest. With Electronic Arts announcing a rebirth of its Medal of Honour series last night, all eyes were on just who the cover star is.

Apparently it's a bloke called Cowboy who is so undercover that he wandered around Afghanistan in 2002 accompanied by a camera man.

Thanks to a 2002 Life magazine shoot, you can learn all about Cowboy, a United States Special Forces officer. Due to the fact that Cowboy and the chap on the cover of Medal of Honor Rebooted in Afghanistan Deluxe Limited Edition look somewhat alike, we are assuming that he is also on the box art.

There are pictures of “Cowboy” from Life’s series of articles in 2002 covering the beginning of the War in Afghanistan. It seems that no part of his desert operations has been left unsnapped, which says more about the irony of an undercover dude being profiled in a high-circulation magazine than anything else.

Regardless, the similarities are striking - damn, “Cowboy” and “Medal of Honour-Man” are almost identical. Could this be a game profiling of one of America’s finest? EA hasn’t said anything yet, but the game’s first trailer is due to hit at Spike’s Video Game Awards 2009 on US TV, so we guess we’ll find out then.

Next up, the SAS's 'Tractor Boy' is set to appear in Hello magazine.

I had a desire to start my own company, however I did not have enough of cash to do that. Thank goodness my close mate proposed to use the mortgage loans. So I received the financial loan and realized my dream.

Horrible author. You obviously dont understand the military. His name was never used and his identity is confidential. There have been many documentaries about Special Forces.
