Nintendo of Japan has announced that it will be filing a lawsuit against Enterbrain and Tirnanog over the content included in the Japan only PlayStation RPG Tear Ring Saga.
Nintendo claims that the game infringes the copyrights of its own game Fire Emblem, developed by Intelligent Systems, which is a similar game, both in terms of presentation and gameplay.
Several members of the team behind Fire Emblem are now ominously employed at Tirnanog, and the games are indeed strangely similar.
