Pandemic Studios has announced on its dedicated EA forum that The Saboteur has overcome all recent obstacles and gone gold on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The news follows a turbulent week for the developer, which has had to deal with rumours of closure and confirmations of relocation and job losses.“I am very proud to communicate today that
The Saboteur has officially gone 'GOLD' on all 3 planned platforms (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 & PC)", Pandemic Community Manager ‘Sledgehammer70’ announced on EA’s message board. “This has been a very difficult week for Pandemic Studios, but does not change the fact that a team of amazing people worked very hard to make
The Saboteur a great game that fans will be able to enjoy this holiday season."
The Saboteur has been described as a ‘Grand Theft Auto in Paris, with Nazis’ and SPOnG had a blast seeing the game in action (which you can read in our
Showcase preview here). You play as Sean, a race-car driver turned liberation soldier, as you infiltrate Nazi-occupied areas of France and take your country back.
The game is on track for a 4th December release in Europe, and an 8th December launch for North America.
