Following the completion of Final Fantasy X for the Japanese market, the Final Fantasy team took a well-deserved break. They have now returned and will begin preparation for a global release of the killer RPG.
The US version will be the first to go into the translation and regionalisation process, followed by the European versions of the game. As usual, the UK is last.
The American release is pencilled in for some point between the end of this year and the beginning of the next. Europe has been given a tentative release time of late Spring next year. The thing that bothers us is that the European releases will comprise of the American voice acting with subtitles in five other European languages. Why we must wait so many extra months for our release is unknown and generally annoying.
Rant ends.
