Those of you wanting a fix of the upcoming war game Battlefield: Bad Company 2 are in for a treat, assuming you own a PlayStation 3. DICE announced at the Electronic Arts Winter Showcase this week that a multiplayer Beta is heading to the console on the 19th November.
FPS players can get a headstart on everyone else, with access to the Arica Harbour map. Pitting US soldiers against Russians, this map involves both ground and vehicular combat, with support for up to 24 players to stress-test the firefight.
The Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Beta comes ahead of a multiplayer demo for the game, which is due to arrive on all platforms early next year. But don't fret, PC and Xbox 360 owners - you'll still have your Beta fun. You'll just have to wait until next month instead.
EA was also kind enough to send us some new screenshots of the map in action, just to whet your appetite. Go and have a look.
