Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced that it intends to mark the long, long awaited launch of Gran Turismo 3: A Spec with a somewhat special event.
Held on Oxford Street in London, Sony has employed Page 3 stunnas Jo Hicks and Jakki Degg to play for 24 hours non-stop, as well as two journalists from Max Power Magazine.
Overseeing the operation will be Kazunori Yamauchi, the creator of GT3, who will also be handing out fifty GT Force wheels for the game.
The GT Force wheel is the first ever force feedback steering wheel for a home console and enables the player to feel the virtual resist of the car as you pelt around the track. This item, essential for the full racing simulator experience is exclusively compatible with Gran Turismo 3 at this moment in time, but Sony has promised that there will be many other racers to make use of it in the future.
Also in attendance at the event will be rock band Feeder, to give GT3 that little something extra special. It also helps that the trio is signed to Sony Music, we guess.
