Uncharted 2 Biggest Seller in Japan Apparently

According to numerous sources, Famitsu has just released a shortlist of Day 1 sales for the period ending 15th October. Nintendo Everything has the list published, of which its origins spiral all the way down to a post on Japanese imageboard 2ch, so don't take it as read just yet until a scan confirms the numbers.

But if it's to be believed, Uncharted 2 has had an impressive showing in Japan, with 47,000 units sold in its first day of sale. The number more than doubles that of Okami on the Wii, which managed to sell a respectable 19,000 copies on Day 1.

UFC is another surprise, given its a largely foreign, muscly man-groping sport. Uncharted 2 is the clear winner this week though, with the original Drake's Fortune being snubbed by Japanese gamers when it was first released. Maybe it's the Indiana Jones esque presentation that's doing it for consumers there.
