In a welcome break for Dreamcast owners, Sega has announced that it will continue Dreamcast hardware support for the next six years. This means that if have any problems with your machine in this time good old Sega will come to your rescue.
“Although we have ceased production of the Dreamcast console, we will be continuing with the program of continuous support for the machine,” said Sega in a press release. “The technical support teams around the world will stay in place and we will continue to innovate solutions to problems in the same way we do at present.”
Sega also confirmed that it will be keeping technical support in place across all gaming territories. At last, a morsel of good news for the worlds beleaguered Dreamcast owners.
