Sony has been
reading surveys apparently. It also appears that literally lots of people want to play PS2 games on their PS3s. Well, actually lots of people want to play the more elderly
God of War games on the PS3s that don't have backwards compatibility.
The collection, sees "reworked" and remastered versions
God of War and
God of War II in "full 1280 x 720 resolution" with "anti-aliased graphics running at 60 frames per second". So far, the only price available is $39.99.
"We are excited today to announce God of War Collection", said Scott Rohde, vice president, Worldwide Studios America... before we got bored.
So,
GoW and
GoW II the first signs of the direction that backwards compatibility is going. Do you consider this a great new move of remastery? Or simply a way to get you to pay for games again? To the Forum please.
