UPDATE 2: Well, the demo certainly is available... and we're downloading it now.
UPDATE 1: Contrary to what Eidos says below, Sony has now sent us through its own comment. A UK rep tells us: "I've been told the Batman demo is scheduled to go live on the PSN today."
Despite an earlier indication that the much anticipated Batman Arkham Asylum demo for PlayStation 3 will be up in the PlayStation Store today, we been informed of the following by a representative of Eidos.
"The Batman: Arkham Asylum demo will be available from August 7th worldwide for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, however due to the nature of any global release, local times may vary. Gamers eager to get their hands on the demo should keep an eye on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, PlayStation Network and popular PC download sites for an update."
So, you'll have to wait until tomorrow.

All reports I saw said this Friday not Thursday. Assumptions were made for PS3 becuase it's update day of the week is Thursday.

We're massively confused. Eidos says 7th. Sony says today. People are apparently already downloading it. But we can't see it on the store...

Apparently some U.S./North American people are trying to get around it by changing the region they live in on their PSN/PS3 info, and then downloading it.
