While Microsoft has being busying itself with the controller-less Project Natal for the Xbox 360; and Sony seems certain to announce its own
motion control, Ubisoft has been preparing offering to go with
Your Shape, a fitness game set to launch on the Wii in time for Christmas.
Camera-based controller will be packed into the box - a first for fitness games. Of the game and peripheral, which were revealed at Ubisoft's E3 press briefing, the publisher tells us, "Featuring Ubisoft’s proprietary Body Tracking technology, the game enables players to scan their bodies and then projects their images onto the TV, creating a personalized and interactive workout. Based on the player’s specific body shape analysis, fitness level and personal goals,
Your Shape is able to recommend the workout program that is best suited for them."
Ubisoft emphasised the fact that you won't have to hold a controller, noting that you'll be able to incorporate any fitness equipment you already own.
Given that the Wii Remote doesn't play a massive role in the game, there's not a lot to stop Ubi bringing
Your Shape to other systems...

Sony is set to reveal a motion controller of its very own later today.
