Ubisoft has just announced that it will pump out a new Might and Magic game for the DS in August, marking the first time the franchise has hit Nintendo's current handheld.
Taking the name
Might & Magic Clash of Heroes, the game is a puzzle RPG developed by Capybara Games (
Critter Crunch). It has, according to Ubisoft, a "brand new manga-style".
The full spiel goes like this: "In this game, through five unique and epic quests, players will alternate exploration and turn-based puzzle battles to save the world of Ashan from demonic chaos.
Might & Magic Clash of Heroes also adopts a brand new manga-style art design that is perfectly suited to Nintendo DS. In a world populated by knights, elves, wizards, necromancers and demons, gamers can manage their own hero, customize their army and lead campaigns in the mythic
Might & Magic world."
The last outing for the
Might and Magic franchise was
Dark Messiah of Might & Magic: Elements on the Xbox 360 last year.
