Bethesda: Broken Steel: Microsoft 'Is Working on It'
Bethesda has piped up about problems with the Broken Steel DLC for Fallout 3.

Of the PC error, which won't let some players install the add-on, SPOnG was told, "We're seeing the same error, which is a Games for Windows Live DRM Install error. Microsoft is working on fixing it, and we'll let everyone know once we've verified it."

Problems have also cropped up with the Xbox 360 version of the DLC, with some players reporting that Achievements earned through the content are not appearing on their main Achievement list.

SPOnG was told by Bethesda that, "The Xbox Live servers don't seem to be fully synched yet with the additional achievements. This should fix itself automatically soon. People won't lose any achievements."

For more on Broken Steel, see SPOnG's preview and Q&A with Bethesda's marketing VP, Pete Hines.

the problem is not the people who made the games (bethesda's programers) but a Xbox live and Games for windows live. Microsoft is the retarded one, they should stop being such an assholes about word game domination and stfu with lousy game distribuiton systems that obviously can't beat others like steam.

would but microsoft bought up the rights to exclusively distribute certain expansion packs so there's no other venue to get Fallout expansions then Microsoft "Games" which is clearly problematic at best.

They better f**kin' fix it! The Microsoft point system is the stupidest pile of crap that has ever been conceived by man kind! I speant half a 25 dollar gift card just to buy 1000 Microsoft points, to buy something that is 800 points(which is probably really like 5 bucks or something) only to see that Broken Steel "Failed to install" with no explanation as to why! Microsoft you dirt bag swindler! I WANT MY DLC OR MY MONEY BACK!!!
