According to
Variety,
The Lost and Damned (the Xbox 360-exclusive
GTA IV DLC, for the cave dwellers reading this) has sold around one million units since it launched on Xbox Live.
This is, for now, consigned to the rumour folder, however.
Variety quotes "a good source", but Rockstar has not confirmed the report.
If that figure's implausible, however, it's only because it sounds a bit modest. Activision already told us that
Call of Duty: World at War's Map Pack 1 was
downloaded a million times over its first week of availability, albeit over both Xbox Live and PSN.
It would be surprising if
Lost and Damned hasn't at least matched that figure since its release in February.
What we do know for certain is that
The Lost and Damned was, at the time of release, the biggest-selling piece of DLC over a launch weekend on Xbox Live. Of course, with no figures released at the time Microsoft announced that, it doesn't help us too much in verifying the one million sales figure.
