Ninjas Join Street Fighter Costumes in Home

Capcom goes Home friendly

The US PlayStation 'blog' has announced that not only will Capcom be allowing Street Fighter IV costumes to appear on the American PlayStation Home servers, but Ninja costumes are also to be made available.

This news comes after information appeared regarding the first game to connect the PSP to Home - and Sony showed off more than 20 corporate supporters of its 3D social gaming area.

On the Capcom/Home front, the USPSBlog also tells us, "Resident Evil 5 fans can launch straight from PlayStation Home into the game. And for the Street Fighter fans, Capcom is bringing Street Fighter IV costumes and additional themed content to PlayStation Home, much of which will be unlocked through in-game actions.

"...as for the ninjas …. On February 12th, sweet ninja outfits will be available for purchase at the Mall to dress your PlayStation Home avatar up in. Yeah, ninja outfits! And to celebrate their arrival, we’re holding a contest: On February 13th, we’ll be holding an event called 'I Love Ninjas.'

"The first instance of the brand-new community-named Home hang-out space, the Gamer’s Lounge, to be completely filled with people in ninja costumes (or a reasonable facsimile using all-black clothing items in your inventory) that we see will win vouchers for SOCOM and Warhawk to celebrate the upcoming spaces."

We have asked SCEE this morning if and when any of the above will be available on European Home servers. In the meantime - how about some chess tables that don't make you play 'grey versus slightly greyer'?

What I would like is the ability to stay signed in to the PSN whilst watching a movie, I was shocked to find yesterday as I was trying to download several items that putting in a blu-ray disc movie caused the system to sign out of the network and also you cannot do anything else like with the 360.

Sony need to add this function at least.
