Capcom Europe has announced that it will release a limited edition version of Resident Evil 5 alongside the standard package.
Of the limited edition, Capcom Europe tells us - "Packaged in a steelbook case the Limited Edition features a bonus DVD containing exclusive behind the scenes footage on the making of this latest entry in the Resident Evil series and the full length trailer for CG movie ‘Resident Evil Degeneration’."
Both versions of the game are set for release on March 13th.
At the time of press, only a picture of the PS3 version was available, while the announcement did not specify platforms. SPOnG has spoken to Capcom Europe and been assured that the Xbox 360 will get a Limited Edition too, however. You can see the PS3 version to the right of this very story.

cool, can't wait till it comes out guess the demo will have to do, but why only 360? and why only 1 week? will it just be taken down or will it stop working aswel after the week?

I read somewhere that apparently Microsoft paid for a 1week exclusivity on the demo that sounds completely stupid I know especially for a demo of all things.
I am a little dissapointed with this collectors edition I mean this is Res Evil 5 of all games!! Surely they could have packed more of a punch with a collectors edition of an extremely highly anticipated title just like street fighter 4!

yeah, I'd have been happy with just the steelbook cos doubt I'll ever watch the DVD, I'm still not sure which version to get at the moment, though I'll probably get the PS3 version for the controls.

What surprises me is that this is all we aregetting for our collectors edition. Compared to the SFIV one. I would have liked a free soundtrack of RE5 model tapped on to it.
