In an outbreak of logic that might get Sony kicked out of the video game community, it is re-enabling voice chat in Home - but only in certain environments.
As reported last week, update 1.04 removed voice chat as well as removing people's collectibles as a side product.
Well, the PlayStation blog tells us, "PlayStation Home update 1.05 is scheduled to be released on December 22. With this new update, users will be able to use the voice chat within their personal space and clubhouses to communicate and share with friends online."
There is, however, no news regarding the return of collectibles.

Sure he's a blatant fanboy whose idea of a good time is to piss on someone else's, but he's got a few things going for him:
He's ours. Like it or not, obviously the latter, and I count myself as one of the least amused by his antics, he's a registered SPOnGer and even at his worst, I find him more tolerable than the vast majority of the anon posters out there, whose posts are, in the main, completely worthless. At least he's accountable for his own posts, we know who and what he is, and are free to filter his output through this knowledge as appropriate, unlike the anon [m]asses. He's even made a few worthwhile contributions to discussions in the forums, thought I'd be hard pressed to prove that one. In any event, I find his brand of naked fanboyism preferable (edit: well, ok, mebbe not preferable...say, less dangerous) to that which I've come to recognize as equally dogmatic, if obfuscated by plausible-sounding pseudo-academia, coming from certain Nintendocentric Revisionists of late.
Every village needs an idiot...and Nature abhors a vacuum, if not SS4, we'd have to break in a new one, and I doubt anyone has the patience for that.
'sides, ignoring him wouldn't work, I have no small amount of experience in this area of endeavor and unless everyone else does likewise, it'd be almost as bad, if not worse, all you'd end up with is a bunch of post bitching about the ones you're ignoring.
Anyone else feeling the need to memorialize SS4 in their sig is welcome to use any of my material...may I humbly suggest:
