The weekend has seen the Internet filled with breaking news - apparently from US magazine
EGM - that
LittleBigPlanet will be gaining the PSP as a platform alongside the PlayStation 3.
Shock and awe, eh readers?
Not so much actually.
The 'news' first surfaced in April with reports stating that the game was already in development
at Sony Liverpool. Sony would, of course, offer no comment.
Then,
in September, a job ad cropped up that actually stated: "They are looking for a senior level programmer to work on development of exciting new
LittleBigPlanet projects. Ideal candidates will already have extensive experience of the PSP platform."
Anyway, the most recent not-so-news comes from EGM, quoted by Kotaku. Apparently the magazine says, "The
LittleBigPlanet universe will also continue to evolve next year with the release of the PSP version. Q-Mann hears it's fantastically ambitious and will further flesh out the PS3
LittleBigPlanet experience."
We also understand that
Gears of War 2 will be released two weeks ago - and that
Call of Duty: World at War is to be a game concerning warfare that isn't as modern as current warfare.
